RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the general direction of the Area Superintendent, the Senior Foreman will responsible for our client's SE Saskatchewan field.
PRODUCTION OPERATIONS
  • Supervise client's operators including contractors.
  • Liaise with third party processors.
  • Maintain good corporate relationships with area residents and all levels of government such as towns, RMâs Sask Environment, Sask Boilerâs Branch, SIR, Sask Forestry as well as other producers.
  • Liaise with Production Engineer on a daily basis regarding all production-related items including updates, new ideas and problems, as well as Exploration Engineers and Area Superintendents to complete property reviews.
PRODUCTION REPORTING/OP COST FORECASTING
  • Assume the lead role with the monthly volume and operating cost forecasting process.
  • Utilizing Fieldview, review and verify data to ensure accuracy of production reporting, explain variances and identify problem wells.
  • Prepare annual budget for operating costs working with Production Engineers, Production Analyst and Area Superintendent.
  • Have familiarity with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements.
  • Liaise with Production Engineer and D&C to ensure operational needs of well completions, workovers and maintenance are met.
  • Coordinate all aspects of new well start-ups.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas field operations (emphasis on oil).
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Proficient in SAP, Sterne, Fieldview and Pulse.
  • Completion of all related HSE training.
  • Strong project management skills.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ideal candidate will possess either a technical college diploma or a degree in Engineering or considerable direct Canadian industry experiences in the area.
  • You have strong organization, communication and presentation skills.
  • Team player (strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage staff).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proven track record in supervising operations staff.
  • Determination and perseverance to continually strive to optimize production volumes and to minimize operating costs.
  • Team player who leads by example.
