RESPONSIBILITIES:
When you apply we'll be looking for your ability, experiences and successes in the oil and gas business supporting and maintaining relationships not only internally but also with producers, contractors and consulting engineers. You'll be able to demonstrate your expertise at putting together custom quotations/proposals for the team as well as ensuring these deals are efficiently and effectively completed to your customers satisfaction throughout Western Canada. You'll demonstrate your ability to source suitable components for incorporation in to systems; scheduling meetings and marshalling internal and external resources to complete the timely delivery of projects. Some of the general responsibilities include:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
  • Significant knowledge of the Canadian gas compression industry including customer contacts, systems, processes, etc.
  • Knowledge of compressor packages (Screw & Reciprocal) both in their design and manufacture
  • Knowledge of basic selling principles and methods, project tracking systems and booking successes
  • Separator quoting systems and vendor community
  • Liase with customers after a sale
  • Cooler & Heat Exchanger Sizing, Cost Justifications, Valve & Vessel Design and Sizing (ASMA calculations)
  • Review vessel and line quotations and specifications, confirming and clarifying where necessary with Sales team and/or customers
  • Skid design including calculations
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Should have a B.Sc., CET designation in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering - P.Eng. preferred or considerable direct Canadian industry experiences
  • Demonstrable technical knowledge within the industry
  • You have strong organization, communication and presentation skills.
  • Supreme relationship builder.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
  • Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed professional service skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a entrepreneurial environment within a small management group.
  • Strong written communication and PC computer skills with experience putting RFQ's together.

  • Position is based in Calgary. Significant base salary commensurate with experience plus participation in income bonus program adding realistically anywhere from 25% to 50% of base salary to annual pay (paid semi-annually).
