RESPONSIBILITIES:

To learn the business. Visit current and prospective clients - make them feel good. Generate business. Promote our client professionally and with enthusiasm to the target audience - everyone from government to mom & pop shops. Devise sales strategies together with your National Sales Manager to determine the best way to address the market. Communicate regularly with HQ your plans and the results. You will find that Northern Alberta (Edmonton, specifically) customers to be very receptive to our client's products and services. You will get paid on results you create - you'll do extremely well if you understand this scenario.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of sales process, follow up and closing; you are action oriented;
• Knowledge of the printing, binding, document finishing, communication industries;
• Relationship foundation with Edmonton businesses, institutions and governments;
• Strong familiarity with Macintosh and Windows computers and applications;

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary if suitable experience demonstrated;
• 1 to 3 years experience in a direct sales role, preferably with a commission or bonus component;
• Demonstrated ability to work intelligently, independently and productively from a home-based office setting;
• You have strong and demonstrable communications and presentation skills.
• Supreme relationship builder.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills.
• Highly developed professional service skills.
• Able to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment - with zero bureaucracy.
• Have good oral and written communication as well as PC computer skills.
