| Our client is a world leader in providing water treatment chemicals, service and technologies to a wide range of industries including the petrochemical and refinery sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
When you apply consider this, you have strong chemical knowledge and applied water treatment chemical experience. You have the technical and mechanical knowledge to run and maintain the applicable delivery systems. You will be directly in touch with a wide range of plant and operational personnel in Northern Alberta where you will communicate expertly about technical issues and problems, turning some in to new opportunities for your firm.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of drilling industry and refinery fluids, mud cleaning, solids controls applications, environmental cleanup applications, large scale water treatment applications and technologies
- Knowledge of oilfield chemicals handling and disposal
- Knowledge of selling principles and methods, project tracking system and project booking successes
- Knowledge of prospective customers in the oil and gas business in Northern Alberta
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5+ years "hands-on" water treatment experience in a technical service role.
- You have strong and demonstrable communications and presentation skills.
- Supreme relationship builder.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
- Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed professional service skills
- Able to work effectively in a entrepreneurial environment but for a large organization.
- Have good oral and written communication and PC computer skills.
- Able to travel to field locations and offices throughout Northern Alberta as required.
- Take charge attitude.

Important Stuff |
- Position is based in Edmonton. Depending on experience, annual base salary of $55,000 to $65,000 plus very generous bonus plan.
- Company vehicle provided by firm.
