This position will act as the senior software designer/engineer responsible for the delivery of platform-based solutions on the Millennium and eMillennium product lines. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Director of R&D for major program delivery inside the committed R&D Plan. Development activates will focus on:
- Delivery of terminal based application software initiatives
- Server and Application layer development programs
- Administration and control application development
- Management of external development staff activities and deliverables
Qualifications
- Should have at least 10 years relevant industry experience in software design, management, and support.
- Must have/possess a bachelor degree in computer science or engineering with focus on software design.
Skill Set
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high degree of skill and experience in the following areas:
- Linux/Unix application development
- HTML development
- XML/XSL development
- C++ development
- A high level of understanding of IP based networking
Important Stuff
- Position is based in Calgary. Pays up to $95,000 base. Company bonus structure in place
